Equestrian Orbit

I started messing around with animation. I remembered the horrors .gifs result in and so decided to make it a .swf instead. This is actually a much faster process so I think I'll do that more in the future. (also the animation program I am using doesn't like gifs at all. That's the problem with open source programs- not everything works all the time, but you really appreciate it when it does.)

Equestria's image is from the globe in some episode. The Moon is from the storybook opening sequence to the first episode. The sun is from blackgryph0n.deviantart.com/ar… The stars are the result of me remembering I had GIMP and the ability to draw.

Probably could have grabbed higher quality images for the other two, but I like how this turned out.

edit: Sped it up, made the moon rotate and gave Equestria lighting. The orbit speeds are a bit off in certain places...

edit: Sweet Celestia that's pretty. I switched out the low res images for higher res ones. Blur effects make me happy. I'm not certain if I can improve upon this any further.
